On release of ISO 9001:2015 we were assessed, together with a group of 86 other companies, to ensure our systems and practises conform to the latest definitions.
The new ISO 9001: 2015 management system standard helps ensure that consumers get reliable, desired quality goods and services from a conforming organisation. It is accredited to an organisation when they are able to consistently provide products and services that meet customer, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
ISO 9001: 2015 aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system as well as providing assurance of conformity to customers.
ISO 9001: 2015 has an in-depth auditing process as the new QMS model has been implemented with the next 25 years in mind. An organisation applying for ISO 9001 certification is audited based on an extensive sample of its sites, functions, products, services and processes.
Of the 86 companies that were audited, only 6 were signed off with zero findings. A zero finds results means no actions are needed to make any changes to conform to the new standards. From the 6 out of 86 companies with a zero finds result, A & T Enclosures were one.
This was great news as our quality is something we’ve been proud of since we were established almost 30 years ago. Our high quality services, products, and business as a whole are what separate us from the rest; our quality puts us on top.
An ISO 9001 certificate is not a once and for all award however, it must be renewed at regular intervals to ensure standards and definitions are still being adhered to.
In our latest 2020 review, we’ re happy to report that once again we are at the forefront of our industry, with another zero findings result; our standards and quality remain high as we continually re-invest heavily into our people and the latest technologies.
